Meet the girl who makes a magic moment with Harry Potter (search).
This is Katie Leung (search), the nearly 18-year-old actress who plays Harry's love interest Cho Chang in the much- anticipated film "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire," (search) set to hit theaters this November and based on the fourth book in the series by author J.K. Rowling.
Leung — who won the part of the Ravenclaw beauty at an open audition — will also eventually be the lucky witch who gets to knock Harry off his broomstick with his very first kiss.
Because the movie is true to the book, according to Warner Bros. spokesman David Mortimer, Harry and Cho won't smooch in "Goblet of Fire" — in fact, Cho will be dating Hogwarts hunk Cedric Diggory while Harry bitterly admires her from afar. But by the fifth Potter installment, "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," (search) the Quidditch-playing teens do hook up — and, with hormones racing, lock lips.
Leung — who was born in Scotland to Chinese parents and now lives with her dad — said she loves working in the films. But she has kept a low profile about the kiss and the movie.
But in the few interviews Leung has given, she seems to be happy with the part — and happy to work with Daniel Radcliffe (search), the 16-year-old actor who plays Harry. "When we did have time, we definitely hung out together," she said in an interview with The Weekly Reader.
