"Mo'nique's Fat Chance," (search) a two-hour reality show crowning a "full-figured" winner, airs Saturday at 8 p.m. EDT.
Billed as "cable's first full-figured beauty competition," the show, hosted by Mo'nique (UPN's "The Parkers" (search), will take 10 plus-sized women who'll compete for the title of "Ms. F.A.T. (Fabulous and Thick)" before a panel of experts.
The women will be evaluated on beauty, style, poise and personality, with NBA superstar Shaquille O'Neal (search) and plus-size model Mia Tyler (search), the daughter of Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler, serving as celebrity judges.
In the show, viewers will see how the contestants, who were chosen from a multi-city casting call (New York, Atlanta, L.A.), were flown to a "Beauty Boot Camp" in L.A. and schooled in "mind and body training," according to press materials.
Mo'Nique, who created and executive-produced the special, will co-star in an upcoming movie, "Domino," with Keira Knightley and Jacqueline Bisset.
