'Scrubs' Will Move to Comedy Central

The "Scrubs (search)" crew will find a second life on Comedy Central (search) — which will begin airing repeats of the NBC comedy in Fall 2006.

The show, which premiered in 2001, stars Zach Braff, Donald Faison and Sarah Chalke as young doctors dealing with hospital life in surreal surroundings.

John C. McGinley, Judy Reyes, Ken Jenkins and Neil Flynn also co-star in the sitcom, which has been a hit with critics but has never pulled very big viewership numbers.

"Scrubs" is scheduled to return for a fifth season on NBC, and those episodes will also be picked up by Comedy Central.

Comedy Central has, in the past, picked up network shows for syndicated runs, including ABC's "Sports Night" and FOX's "Action."
