The city of London came under attack Thursday morning. Terrorists took aim at a bus and subways during rush hour, setting off several blasts in different parts of the city in what appears to be well-coordinated attacks.
Casualty numbers are fluid but reports say up to a thousand people could be hurt.
British Prime Minister Tony Blair (search) was at the G-8 summit in Scotland when the bombs went off this morning. Earlier he spoke to the world telling us this was, "not an attack on one nation, but on all nations and on civilized people everywhere."
President Bush offered his condolences to the British people and reminding the world that "the War on Terror goes on." The president also cautioning Americans to be "extra vigilant" as they go to work.
