In the old days, Coldplay (search) listeners could hear a ballad like "Yellow" and imagine what lovely lady the "stars that shine" twinkled for.
Here's a sampling from a song called "The Nappies": "There's s--t going down that you can't disguise/When your b--bs dem got ten times the size/The cups gone up from an A to D/It's bad for you but it's fun for me."
He goes on to promise that he'll be "there for [Gwyneth] through the thin and the thick/I'm gonna clean up all the poo and the sick."
Thanks, Chris, for sharing. Aside from the "ick" factor, this song underlines the big question Coldplay faces: Can fans stomach a whole album about Gwyneth?
Sometimes a songwriter's muse is best left to the imagination.
