Lawyers for the long-separated couple, both 34, were in Manhattan Supreme Court Wednesday, where they told Justice Saralee Evans they're close to working out a deal bringing their seven-year marriage to an amicable end.
"We're expecting everything to be fully settled by next month," Thurman's lawyer, Robert Stephan Cohen, said afterward. He declined to elaborate.
Neither the "Kill Bill" star nor her estranged hubby was in court for the brief hearing.
The pair, who have two kids, married soon after they struck up a romance on the set of the 1997 sci-fi clunker "Gattaca."
