NEW YORK – A roof collapsed Thursday at a building under construction, injuring at least seven workers, officials said
The seven were taken to Bellevue Hospital (search) with apparently non-life threatening injuries, Fire Department spokeswoman Virginia Lam said.
Firefighters continued to search for other workers in the rubble, fire officials said. The building is in the East Williamsburg (search) section of Brooklyn.
The roof of the four-story building collapsed around 1:15 p.m., Lam said.
