"Two and a Half Men," (search) considered the successor to "Everybody Loves Raymond," (search) certainly benefitted from its mentor's series finale Monday night.

"Men," which usually averages around 16 million viewers, snared 25 million viewers at 9:30 p.m. EDT following "Raymond's" swan song.

It was a viewership record for "Men," which also set series records in all key demos. The series stars Jon Cryer and Charlie Sheen.

"Raymond" averaged 33 million viewers, the most-watched episode in its nine-season history. It also impacted "CSI: Miami" at 10 p.m. EDT, which snared a series-best 23.2 million viewers.
