Topics & Guests: April 16

We come to you LIVE from the heartland Saturdays at 8 p.m. ET!

Former Ohio congressman and host John Kasich covers the stories that touch our entire nation!

Saturday, April 16:

Just weeks after the search for 9-year-old Jessica Lunsford ended in heartbreak, Florida authorities were searching for another missing girl, Sarah Michelle Lunde (search) hoping for a completely different outcome. Could a registered sex offender be involved with Lunde’s disappearance as well? And should laws be tougher against sex offenders to protect children? We’ll debate with Wendy Murphy, a former sex crimes prosecutor and Jake Goldenflame, a recovering sex offender.

Did Mifflin High School (search) officials in Columbus, Ohio fail to report a sexual assault soon enough? Will they be prosecuted? We’ll look for answers as we talk with Stephanie Hightower of the Columbus Board of Education and Bill Bush of the Columbus Dispatch.

And why did San Jose State (search) suspend its dance team after a performance at a basketball game? Can a routine be too sexy for school? We’re investigating.

These stories and more on this Saturday's "Heartland."

Be sure to watch "Heartland" this Saturday evening at 8 p.m. ET and on Sunday at 4 a.m. ET.
