Blake Jury Ends Fifth Day of Deliberations

LOS ANGELES – Jurors in the Robert Blake (search) murder trial ended their fifth day of deliberations Thursday without reaching a verdict.

The panel was to continue deliberating the case Friday.

Blake, 71, is accused of killing his wife, Bonny Lee Bakley (search), 44, who was shot in his car near his favorite Italian restaurant in 2001.

The star of TV's "Baretta" and the movie "In Cold Blood" is charged with murder, two counts of solicitation of murder, and a special circumstance of lying in wait. If convicted, he could be sentenced to life in prison.
