Thursday night's "Apprentice" (search) episode featured the show's first-ever "double-whammy" — with two contestants leaving the NBC reality show.
Verna, the Magna team member who freaked out last week — and walked off the show before being coaxed back — finally quit the show outright, citing her shaky nerves.
And Danny, the Magna team leader, was fired in a boardroom showdown with series host Donald Trump (search).
Verna, still reeling from her breakdown, told teammates, "I don't think that it's going to get better. I probably should go ahead and go," before packing her bags and leaving the penthouse.
Last night's task pitted the two teams, Magna and Net Worth, in a battle to create a marketing campaign for Nescafe coffee.
Both teams were given $75,000. Magna decided to give away I-Pods to attract Nescafe customers — while Net Worth chose to stage a mock "debate" on the merits of hot or cold coffee (and was chosen as the winner for its creativity).
Once in the boardroom, Danny, who was on the hot seat as the losing team's leader, lashed out at Michael — who, exempt from being fired, carried on like a child during the challenge.
Danny tried to get Trump to waive Michael's exemption and fire him anyway — but Trump turned the tables and "fired" Danny for his unsound judgment.
