Curious George Gets His Own Show

Curious George (search), the mischievous monkey loved by millions of kids and the hero of the popular "Curious George" children's books, is finally getting his own TV show.

PBS is producing at least 30 half-hour animated episodes of the show in which a lovable little monkey — looked after by a gentle man in a big, yellow hat — gets into one scrape after another but always saves the day in the end.

The show is slated to debut in fall 2006.

The new series will be narrated by actor William H. Macy (search).
