Monday on “DaySide”
As usual, we'll be on top of the day's breaking news, but in addition here's a story we're covering: the Christian rock band in Ohio that had been booked to play at an anti-drug rally at a public school. The school cancelled the performance out of "caution" — in fear that some parents might not want their kids exposed to a band of Christian (search) teens. Hello? By the way, attendance at the rally next week was not mandatory, so no kids were going to be forced to listen to the music.
Someone please tell me what is going on here? I can think of a long list of other things for people to get up in arms about and this sure doesn't make the cut.
Another story we're tracking is the now infamous Clinton pardonee, financier Marc Rich (search). Our FOX News team has dug up suspicious information about his alleged participation in the U.N. Oil-for-Food scandal (search). Hmmmmmmmm ... Feel free to chime in with your comments on any of the above stories, and I might just use your e-mail on the air on Monday: dayside@foxnews.com.
Have a great weekend,
Linda
