CNBC (search) is finally canning "McEnroe" (search) — and will replace John McEnroe's low-rated talker with "The Big Deal with Donnie Deutsch," (search) which will air weeknights at 10 p.m. EST. The announcement is expected to come Friday.

"McEnroe," which launched last summer, never got off the ground and, at times, garnered the dreaded Nielsen "hash marks" — meaning its viewership was too low to measure.

"Big Deal," hosted by advertising maven Donnie Deutsch, has been airing Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EST since being moved to its midweek perch from CNBC's weekend lineup, where it performed strongly in key demos.
