A grandson of Britain's Queen Elizabeth II (search) was in a van struck by a car on the way to the Formula One Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai on Sunday, said a spokeswoman for his employer, the BMW-Williams racing team.
Peter Phillips (search), an account manager with the team's marketing department, wasn't injured in the accident, said Silvia Hoffer, a Williams F1 spokeswoman in Shanghai.
"He's absolutely OK, it's nothing to worry about," Hoffer said. "He's happy and jumping and running around."
Phillips had been in a van with three other Williams employees when a car ran into their vehicle five minutes away from the track, she said.
One of the team members was hospitalized as a precaution; the rest, including Phillips, were fine, Hoffer said.
Hoffer said Phillips, 26, looks after the team's sponsors in his role with Williams. He has been with the team for the last two seasons.
Phillips is the son of Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips and is the queen's first-born grandchild.
