Airs Sunday, Sept. 19 at 8 p.m. ET

Hosted by U.S. Marine Corps  Lt. Col. Oliver North

The struggle to bring democracy to the people of Iraq continues in the second phase of Operation Iraqi Freedom (search). Foreign terrorists, Saddam loyalists, and disgruntled members of the former Iraqi army have not let up in their battle against coalition forces.

Right in the middle of this fight are the men of the 2nd Battalion/4th Marines. Affectionately known as “The Magnificent Bastards,” they live up to their rich history dating back to the battlefields of the Pacific during World War II. Today they are on the frontlines of gun battles for the heavily defended streets of Ar Ramadi.

In this special edition of “War Stories with Oliver North,” you’ll get a first-hand look at the type of insurgencies and terrorist actions they face every day. You will see how the Marines and the Army’s 1st Infantry Division are taking on a formidable foe — the  Improvised Explosive Device, or IED. These remote control  bombs have been responsible for more than 134 American troop deaths. See what happens when our FOX News camerman Mal James is inside a military humvee when it is attacked by such a device.

Go along with Oliver North and you will see the hearts and souls of our brave fighting troops as they perform their duty and service to our country in a quest to allow others to live free from tyranny and terror.
