NEW YORK – Anna Nicole Smith (search) is launching her own clothing line in a style she calls "Tex-Sex."
The apparel line, Anna Nicole, includes jeans, T-shirts, tops and skirts, all combining the former Playboy Playmate's Texas roots and her sex-symbol style.
The clothes are designed by both the 36-year-old blond diva and professional designers of Southern California-based apparel company Von Dutch.
Smith's new clothing line will be unveiled at the Magic Marketplace, a fashion showcase, in Las Vegas on Aug 30.
Smith recently lost 69 pounds with the help of a weight loss program called Trimspa.
Her reality show "The Anna Nicole Show" (search) on E! follows her daily misadventures. The reality series debuted in August 2002 with the highest ratings ever for an E! program, but its numbers have since slipped.
Smith spent seven years in a battle over the estate of her late oil tycoon husband, J. Howard Marshall (search), who died in 1995 at 90. Last year, she won an $88 million judgment, which E. Pierce Marshall is appealing.
Smith, whose real name is Vickie Lynn Hogan, met her husband in 1991 when she was working as a stripper. The couple married three years later, when she was 26 and he was 89.
