After tremendous response from viewers about the story of Sarah Macias -- the first grader in Rialto, California -- we are pursuing yet another follow-up on why a school bus driver ordered her off the bus when she was lost.

For Pete's sake, it's not her fault she got on the wrong bus! She's only five and it was her first bus ride ever. It is still beyond me how any adult could look a little child in the eye and order her off the bus.

The school board has not returned our phone calls. However, we have learned that at least one other parent in Rialto has had similar problems with bus drivers in this district.

Some of you have e-mailed me about your own run-ins with school bus drivers in other states. I'm blown away that this has happened elsewhere with little kids. Please send any comments about this story to me at the usual address: dayside@foxnews.com

Thanks,

Linda
