The Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks occurred largely because of a "failure of imagination" by the U.S. government to deal with a gathering threat that eventually would forever alter the way America deals with terrorists, the independent commission investigating the attacks concluded in its report released Thursday.

Now that the 9/11 commission has issued its final report where does the nation and the Bush administration go from here? What lessons have we learned, what needs to be next?

National Security Adviser Condoleeza Rice joins us this evening.

Plus, 9/11 Commission member and former Indiana Rep.Tim Roemer (D) talks with Sean and Alan about the commission's report.

Then, it's not just the Democrats who are headed to Boston... The Republicans plan to be in Beantown, too. We'll hear from the Chairman of the Republican National Committee Ed Gillespie.

Also, we'll get a live report from the USS Ronald Reagan (search) from radio talk show host Michael Reagan, son of the late president.

Finally, Sean brings us his "Cheap Shot of the Day!"

These stories and much more!
