There’s an interesting federal investigation going on that you probably won't hear much about... The New York Times buried it on page seventeen.

Former Clinton National Security Adviser Sandy Berger (search) was caught taking highly classified documents from the National Archives. People working there say they became suspicious when they noticed Berger stuffing documents in his pants and coat. They realized documents, some identifying America's terror vulnerabilities at airports and seaports, were missing. The Archives personnel began specially marking documents Berger asked for. Some of those disappeared as well. In some cases the ONLY document in existence is missing. Berger says he knew what he was doing was wrong, but didn't know if it was illegal. HE has returned some of the documents, but says he can't find others. We will continue watching this investigation.

In the Kobe Bryant case we mentioned that the accuser has considered dropping the case. The court mistakenly posted her name online. The court mistakenly e-mailed documents from a closed-door regarding her sexual history to numerous media organizations. Her attorney says his client — and two unidentified (in court) prosecution witnesses — have received death threats.

We had the FDNY calendar men on the show. You can buy the 2005 calendar at www.fdnyhotzone.com. Great fire safety tips are on each page. Of course, I buy it to read the tips... not to look at the pictures!

If I looked groggy it's because the baby is teething... or trying to. They haven't cut through, so he's crying nonstop. Poor little guy.

I may have to go back to Slim-Fast since Whoppi is gone. I had signed up for the Zone Chefs diet, which they deliver to your home or office each day. They've been scheduled to come for three days, but I haven't gotten anything yet. I don't think that's part of the diet!

P.S. What's with the United Nations inaction in Sudan?

See you tomorrow.
