A Palestinian rocket exploded in the Jewish settlement of Nisanit after nightfall Monday, rescue workers and settlers said, and three Israelis were lightly wounded.
The Magen David Adom rescue service said the rocket hit a house in the settlement, which is in the northwest corner of the Gaza Strip (search).
Three ambulances were seen headed to the settlement, where residents said the rocket set the house on fire. Firefighters put out the blaze.
Earlier Monday, an Israeli was seriously wounded in another rocket attack. Palestinians fire homemade rockets and mortars at the Jewish settlements in Gaza and communities just outside the fence frequently.
