If the Bush administration was hoping that the International Atomic Energy Agency (search) would somehow convince the Iranians to cooperate with inspectors, they should check out the latest edition of the Tehran Times. State Department analysts don’t even need a translator, because the daily newspaper is printed in English.
Here’s what they think about international inspections of their nuclear program: "Pressured by U.S. officials and supported by the Zionists, some officials from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and its official website have started fabricating lies about the Iranian nuclear program, even allowing some secret news about the Iranian nuclear program to leak to Western media.
Such moves show that the Iranian officials should have considered suspending cooperation with the IAEA rather than suspending enriching uranium.” While this is not yet the official position of the Iranian government on inspections, it may become that soon; The Tehran Times is published and approved by the Iranian government.
