Democrat Dennis Kucinich (search) vows to continue his long-shot presidential bid, despite finishing with a scant one percent of the New Hampshire vote.

During his speech to supporters, Kucinich took off a shoe and held it up, saying it was the shoe of a long-distance runner. He says New Hampshire was the second step in a long race to the Democratic convention.

Kucinich says because of his anti-war campaign, the country is on its way to reconnecting with the world in the cause of peace.
