Here’s the latest edition of Some Stories You Won't Find on any other Sunday show:

Dog Days

British Prime Minister Tony Blair -- who it turns out is a fan of the Fox TV cartoon "The Simpsons" -- agreed to lend his voice to the show, if one change was made before it airs in Britain this week.

According to producers, in the original version Blair presents the Simpsons with a corgi dog. But -- since some British papers labeled Blair "President Bush's poodle" for supporting the U.S. during the Iraq war -- Number 10 Downing Street felt Blair's reputation might be hurt. So that scene was cut.

Election Vision

Pat Robertson, host of the "700 Club," says he received a very important message this week.

Robertson said, "I really believe I'm hearing from the Lord -- it's going to be a blowout election in 2004."

According to Robertson, God is blessing George W. Bush.

Away With Words

Lake Superior State University has come up with a list of words that should be banned in 2004. No. 1 on the list: “metrosexual" (search).

Of course, we weren't guilty of using any such overused -- or useless – phrases, even though we focused on “embedded journalists” that found no “smoking gun” but were “shocked and awed” when Saddam Hussein was “captured alive.”

“Shots rang out” when the story “was ripped from the headlines.” Saddam was basically “punk’d” with no “bling bling” in sight.
