Sharp-eyed reality TV fans aren't seeing double -- Toni Ferrari (search) the scheming brunette on Paradise Hotel is the same girl who went for a ride on Love Cruise two years ago.

She's one of an elite bunch of reality- show exhibitionists who seem to be making a career out of appearing on unscripted programming.

In the past, only a handful of folks would turn up on multiple programs -- typically, game shows.

With so many unscripted dramas on TV these days, casting directors tend to pick contestants with similar characteristics. In some cases, that means grabbing people from other shows.

"The same people getting picked over and over again because they're good on camera being themselves," says Josh Souza, 26, a former houseguest from the original Big Brother who has gone on to appear on Blind Date and a Pax-TV game show Dirty Rotten Cheaters.

"They're very outgoing people. They're outspoken. They're opinionated and that makes for good television especially on reality and game shows," says Souza. Some do it for the easy money to be won on game show, he says, and others for fame - however fleeting it may be.

Most of the time, contestants are required to divulge if they've been on other shows.

But when Souza applied for Dirty Rotten Cheaters, he wasn't asked which other shows he'd appeared on, just if he had been on TV and what network.

"They didn't have any idea that I was on Big Brother," says Souza. "But on Blind Date they did."

Souza, is currently getting a masters in civil engineering but also runs a Web site with his business partner, Terry Boland, a Canadian Web site designer, for news about wayward reality contestants called realitystars.com (search

"If you look at a lot of the applications for reality shows, most very clearly state that if you've been on another reality show you can't apply," says Boland.

But a Fox spokeswoman said that the network was aware that Ferrari had appeared on Love Cruise.

Other multiple show reality contestants include Temptation Island's Kaya Wittenburg who was also on Cannonball Run, The Weakest Link and Dog Eat Dog.

Wittenberg's girlfriend, Valerie Penso was on Temptation Island, Fox's The Wedding Show and is now a casting agent for other reality shows.

Meanwhile Ferrari is listed either as a Chicago bartender or a personal trainer, depending on the show she's on.

On last Wednesday's debut of the latest outrageous Fox dating show, Chicago's Toni, 28, moved into a hotel room with Andon, a tattooed 26-year-old graphic designer from Denver.

The point of the show is to stay at the hotel the longest by establishing relationships -- preferably romantic -- with the other guests. Each week one guest is voted off and another is added from the show's TV audience.
