A woman was charged with capital murder in the deaths of two of her sons Saturday after calling 911 (search) and telling a dispatcher, "I've just killed my boys."

When deputies arrived at the home of Deanna Laney shortly before 1 a.m., they found the bodies of two of her sons in a shadowy corner of the front yard. The boys, ages 6 and 8, were in their underwear with large rocks on top of them.

Her 14-month-old son was found alive but bleeding in his crib with a pillow over his face and massive head injuries.

Deputy James Finch said the woman's husband, Keith Laney, appeared to have just awakened from sleep in a bedroom. Finch said he asked Keith Laney to remain inside while he went outside to find Deanna Laney. She was still on the phone and standing behind the house in pajamas spattered with blood.

Laney, 38, was jailed on charges of capital murder and aggravated assault. Bail was set at $3 million.

Killed were Joshua Laney, 8, and Luke Laney, 6. The baby was hospitalized Saturday in critical condition late Saturday, said Smith County (search) Sheriff J.B. Smith. Smith said he said he believed the boys were led outside before they were killed.

A telephone call to the Laney residence Saturday night went unanswered.
