Tonight on Hannity & Colmes...

American troops advancing toward Baghdad engaged in fierce street-to-street battles with Iraqi militants Tuesday -- as a few U.S. military units crossed into the "red zone" within 50 miles of the capital.

U.S. Marines waged a firefight against Iraqi forces around Diwaniyah, 75 miles southeast of Baghdad, and reportedly took at least 20 prisoners.

Fox News' Rick Leventhal, embedded with Marines about 75 miles south of Baghdad, reported that U.S. troops will destroy two Iraqi Al-Samoud 2 missiles they found covered by a tarp on a flatbed truck.

The Al-Samouds are surface-to-surface missiles capable of carrying chemical munitions, although no chemical weapons were found. Iraq, under orders from U.N. weapons inspectors, was slowly destroying its Al-Samouds before the war began. We’ll have the latest on the war plus expert reaction…

And we’ll check in with Col. Oliver North who is embedded with the 1st Marine Unit in Iraq—he’ll bring us the latest in a live report.

Rep. Maurice Hinchey, D-N.Y. on why he is very opposed to the war…
