Anna Nicole Smith, American Idol and I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here

Anna Nicole Smith, American Idol and I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here in The Foxlight.

The Anna Nicole Smith Show is going to broadcast live? Don't you have to be alive first? When is the network going to realize that no stunt is capable of getting us to watch this show?

Frenchie sang for the Foxlight on the Grammys' red carpet but refused to badmouth the producers of American Idol, who booted her off the show for working for an 'adult' Web site. A smiling "no comment" was all we could wrangle out of her. Some are saying there were more skeletons in her closet so she decided to step aside. But Simon admitted this week that he may sign her. Maybe that's what's keeping her from singing to the press.

Finally, any show that makes me feel sympathetic towards Melissa Rivers or Stuttering John from Howard Stern's show is probably using some kind of sophisticated brainwashing techniques. That's the only way I can account for my feelings about I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here on ABC. The show itself is a complete snooze. But believe it or not, Joan's daughter has Mary Richards style spunk and Stuttering John seems like a genuinely nice guy, which means Stern is apparently not contagious. Foxlight hears Mr. Stutter is after his own network sitcom.
