NEW YORK – Want to know the plot of the next Harry Potter book?
Let the bidding begin.
A teaser -- 93 random words on a card provided by author J.K. Rowling -- will be auctioned off at Sotheby's in London next month.
"Thirty-eight chapters . . . might change . . . longest volume . . . Ron . . . broom . . . sacked . . . house-elf . . . new teacher . . . dies . . . sorry," the teaser reads in part.
Fans will have to wait until the Dec. 12 auction for the entire card, which is expected to fetch around $9,500.
Rowling still refuses to name a publication date for the eagerly awaited -- and much-delayed -- Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
"I'd rather not say just in case I have a bus accident and things get knocked off track," she told the BBC. "It won't be too long."
