NEW YORK – Lisa Donahue, the California bartender who once worked as a waitress at Scores, romped to victory last night on the live, one-hour finale of Big Brother 3.
Donahue beat runner-up Danielle Reyes by a 9-1 margin, as the house guests who had been evicted over the last three months returned to cast their votes for the two remaining contestants.
The lone holdout in casting his vote for Danielle was Jason, the self-proclaimed "Christian virgin" who had forged an alliance with Danielle and didn't break his promise to support her to the end.
"I knew I played a good game and I did a lot of bad things," Danielle said in defeat. "I knew it would be a 9-to-1 vote.
"My goal [during the game] was to be as innocent as a dove and as sly as a snake. I did what I had to do."
Lisa, whose time in the BB3 house was marked by a romance with fellow houseguest Eric, takes home $500,000 as the winner of the 3-month-long reality show, which tracked the contestants with cameras 24/7.
As the New York Post reported exclusively, Lisa hid a secret from her BB3 housemates - that she once worked in "The Champagne Room" at Scores, a New York topless club. Lisa, however, wasn't topless in her capacity as a waitress.
Danielle -- a media buyer from Fairfield, Calif., takes home $50,000. She had repeated, ad nauseum, that she was playing the game only to win money for her husband and two children.
