NEW YORK – The odds-makers say Ralphie's gonna be the first of The Sopranos crew to get whacked this season.
Honestly, they do.
BetWWWTS.com, an offshore gaming company and odds-maker, put 5/6 odds on Ralph Cifaretto (played by Joe Pantoliano, a.ka. Joey Pants) getting bumped off before any other character this year.
He's one of eight Sopranos the company is banking may get whacked before the new season ends.
Ralphie, a made man, who's been on the wrong side of his boss Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini) since last season, is rumored to dig himself into a deeper hole with Tony in this season's very first episode premiering this Sunday at 9 p.m. on HBO.
Uncle Junior (Dominic Chianise) is right behind Ralph, with 8/5 odds of meeting his maker first, followed by Furio Giunta (Frederico Castelluccio) at 2/1.
Surprisingly, Paulie Walnuts (Tony Sirico), who many believe is the most likely to get killed this season, has relatively low odds at 3/1, while Tony's nephew, Chris Moltisanti comes in at 4/1 odds.
Chris' fiance, Adriana (Drea de Matteo) is given 8/1 odds -- she's rumored to get into some trouble early on this season -- while Tony's sister, Janice has got 6/1 odds.
The big man himself, Tony Soprano, has got the best odds of surviving at 10/1.
