Tonight...The O'Reilly Factor is on... Two teens who were kidnapped in California were rescued alive yesterday after their abductor was shot and killed by police.

California's Kern County Sheriff Carl Sparks said he was certain the kidnapper was minutes away from killing the girls and had chosen a remote location in the high desert.

He said the kidnapper had raped the two girls and "was hunting for a place to kill 'em and bury 'em. We probably saved them by 10 minutes."

The kidnapper was identified as 37-year-old Roy Ratliff, who had a long criminal history and was charged in October with raping a 19-year-old relative but was never apprehended.

Why weren't authorities able to find Ratliff before he committed another crime? How did the girls manage to survive their terrible ordeal? And what goes on in the mind of a serial rapist?

We'll have an update for you on this frightening kidnapping.

Then, President Bush says he's "furious" with Israel. What's our next move in the Middle East?
