LANCASTER, Calif. – Police have launched a "life and death" manhunt throughout the Southwest for a man who abducted two teenage girls from a Southern California "party spot" at gunpoint early Thursday morning.

The kidnapper, described as a white Hispanic male in his mid-thirties to early forties, is believed to be driving a stolen white 1980 Ford Bronco with a gray hood, bearing California license plates 1AIZ962. Police said the man is considered armed and dangerous.
