Men in Black II star Will Smith says a former employee is stalking him and his children and demanding money to keep him from blabbing to the media about his private life.
Smith and his wife, actress Jada Pinkett-Smith, yesterday sought a restraining order against Mike Cooley, who they say was a caretaker of their property until his firing last year.
About a month ago, Cooley began stalking the Smith and their children, the star and his wife say in court papers. They also claim Cooley has approached their two children in a local park.
In their complaint, Smith and Pinkett-Smith accuse Cooley of using their children "as pawns in his attempts to extort money."
Cooley and the family's lawyers did not return calls last night.
