Mom Sues Manson Over Daughter's Death

Ghoulish bad-boy rocker Marilyn Manson is in trouble again — this time for allegedly supplying cocaine to a woman who later killed herself in a car crash.

Jennifer Syme's mother sued Manson yesterday, seeking unspecified damages in a California court for alleged negligence.

Manson, known for his ghastly makeup and bizarre concert antics, is accused of giving Syme cocaine at a party at his home on April 1, 2001.

The woman's mother, Maria St. John, charges in the lawsuit that another person drove an incapacitated Syme back to her house around 5:50 a.m. the next day so she could get her car and return to Manson's place.

Syme never got there.

Just after 6 a.m., she lost control of her car and crashed into three parked vehicles. She was thrown partly out of the car and died at the scene.

Cocaine was later found in her blood.

Manson, whose real name is Brian Warner, could not be reached for comment last night.
