FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The younger brother of California Congressman Gary Condit is charged in Fort Lauderdale with failing to appear in court to face a charge of possessing a fraudulent driver's license.
The FBI issued the warrant for Darrell Wayne Condit's arrest last week. Fort Lauderdale police found him Sunday in a bar.
The feds say Condit failed to appear for a court summons last November on the fraudulent driver's license charges. Before that, he had been arrested July 22nd in Broward County on a Monroe County warrant, for failing to meet probation conditions on a 1996 DUI arrest.
The Broward Sheriff's Office has also charged him with resisting arrest without violence, driving with a suspended license and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
