Hi.  I'm Bill O'Reilly.  Thank you for watching us tonight.

Well, I flew from New York to St. Louis over the weekend, and the flight was perfect.  Security was strong.  Service was good.  Most planes were on time.  So if you're thinking about flying, go right ahead.  It will help the country.

The Talking Points memo is about some inside stuff about the war.  It is underway.

America has reportedly received permission from Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, two countries that border Afghanistan in the North, to stage combat operations from there.  This will allow American and British ground troops to hook up with Afghan guerrillas from the Northern Alliance and use those fighters as guides and combat allies.

Some newspapers are reporting that the British special air forces elite airborne troops are already inside Afghanistan and are fighting.  American special forces may already be there as well.  That is very smart because the Taliban must be removed, and the Northern Alliance can be installed immediately to run that chaotic country.

As for Usama bin Laden, with $25 million being offered for his capture, it is just a matter of time.  It is clear by the massive U.S. deployment that our actions against terrorists will not stop with bin Laden and the Taliban.

It is payback time for terrorists the world over because this is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to get a many of them as possible without a worldwide uproar.  Already the Hamas and the Islamic Jihad in the occupied territories have announced they have suspended suicide bombings in Israel.  Clearly, they are frightened, as they should be.

With his approval rating at 90 percent, President Bush has a chance to make history and make the world a safer place.  He has the power of the American people behind him, and he should use that power.  All identifiable terrorists must go, and that means like in countries like Colombia and the Philippines as well as the Middle East.

Talking Points does not need a daily military briefing either.  Just do it.  The press doesn't have to know everything.  When the time is right, Americans will want an honest appraisal of what has happened, but the military should do its job free of prying eyes for the time being.

As for reprisals from the terrorists, all of us should pray that doesn't happen, but if it does, it does.  We have no choice but to eliminate terrorist threats around the world, no matter what the cost.  They have been allowed to operate for far too long.

Finally, the Bush administration must eventually deal with Saddam Hussein, the world's greatest threat.  No more excuses with this guy.  He is simply too dangerous.  He has to go.

And that's the memo.

Most Ridiculous Item of the Day

Time now for the "Most Ridiculous Item of the Day."

The Planned Parenthood operation in New York City is offering free abortions, among other things, in the wake of the terror attack.  Critics of Planned Parenthood say the group is pushing its agenda at the expense of the terror victims.  The other side says it is being humane.  Personally, I think the offer is ridiculous, but you can make up your own mind.
