Slobodan Milosevic has become just another world traveler. The airlines have lost his luggage.
A suitcase that Milosevic's lawyers were bringing from Belgrade was lost Monday on their flight to Amsterdam, one of the lawyers said.
The missing suitcase contained clothing and other materials belonging to the 59-year-old former Yugoslav president, said Zdenko Tomanovic.
Tomanovic and another lawyer, Dragan Krgovic, arrived at The Hague on Monday to plot strategy for Milosevic's arraignment Tuesday before the U.N. war crimes tribunal. Milosevic was sent to the tribunal on Thursday to stand trial for atrocities committed by his forces in Kosovo.
