Tonight on Hannity & Colmes

United Nations weapons inspectors knocked on the doors of one of Saddam Hussein's presidential compounds Tuesday morning, quickly gaining entry in a test of the inspection teams' new-found power to go anywhere in Iraq.

The monitors found a spectacular, opulent palace inside the huge Al-Sajoud complex that sprawls along the Tigris River. But there was no word that they found anything else.

And Saudi officials on the defensive about financial ties to terrorism launched damage control efforts with a press conference in Washington Tuesday, in which they denied any deliberate bankrolling of Al Qaeda or other terror groups. "We are and shall remain partners in the war on terrorism," said Adel al-Jubeir, foreign policy advisor to the crown prince of Saudi Arabia. Bill Bennett from Empower America will join the debate.

President Bush looked to widen the GOP's edge in the Senate Tuesday by stumping for a GOP candidate who would be Louisiana's first Republican senator since Reconstruction. Doing so would give the state more clout at the White House than it has today with two Democrats, he said. Louisiana Senator, John Breaux reacts.
