Tuesday, May 22, 2007

Sunday, May 27 at 1 p.m. ET

Hosted by Oliver North

President Roosevelt said December 7, 1941 was "a date which will live in infamy." He was right. Japan’s attack on U.S. forces in the Pacific changed America forever: 2,403 Americans were killed, 21 warships were sunk or damaged and the bombing of six airfields catapulted the United States into WWII.

In this revealing episode of "War Stories with Oliver North," you’ll meet one of the Japanese submariners who launched a midget sub and believed in death before defeat. And, 1,200 feet down in a watery grave, you’ll see the midget submarine that was sunk by the USS Ward and her brave sailors an hour before the air attack.
