PHOENIX —  Authorities say an 11-month-old girl injured when a television fell on top of her inside her family's north Phoenix apartment has now died.

Phoenix police say the baby's 2-year-old brother was changing the channel on the television Monday night when the toddler pulled it off a stand onto his little sister.

The television weighed an estimated 40 pounds.

Police say the child died Tuesday at a Phoenix hospital.

The Phoenix Fire Department said it's the third accident involving a television set falling on a child in Phoenix in the past three weeks.
