OMAHA, Neb. Omaha police are looking for a man they believe pistol-whipped his 3-year-old son, as well as the boy's mother.
Police say it happened Friday afternoon when the man got into an argument with his girlfriend at a northwest Omaha apartment. Police say the man hit his girlfriend with a pistol several times, then hit the 3-year-old boy in the head with the gun.
Police say the man fled the apartment before officers arrived.
The child was taken by ambulance to an Omaha hospital with a head injury, but he is expected to recover. Officials say the child had a cut under one eye.
