An employee at an Apple store in a posh D.C. suburb was shot Friday by a man reportedly wearing a fake beard, FOX's WTTG reported.
The 26-year-old woman, who works at Apple in Arlington's upscale Clarendon section, is recovering from a gunshot wound to the shoulder.
Police say the victim was shot by a man who rang a doorbell at the back of the store before it opened Friday morning.
The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s who was wearing a fake beard, according to WTTG.
The shooter fled, and police used helicopter and K-9 units to conduct a sweep of the area.
Police are describing the incident as an attempted robbery.
