A Florida man says he Tasered his estranged wife during a fight in what he claims was an act of self defense, MyFOXOrlando.com reported. John Palmore, 49, told FOX Orlando affiliate WOFL that he was forced to shoot his wife, 48-year-old Khadeja Palmore, with a stun gun after she became violent and punched him in the nose during an argument about their pending divorce. He said he realized his soon-to-be ex was upset about the split and bought the gun to protect himself against her, according to MyFOXOrlando.com. "If someone's coming at you, you don't want to put your hands on them, but you do want to protect yourself and not hurt them," he said. Khadeja Palmore was arrested and charged with battery in the case, according to the station.
