Kathy Griffin's offensive word was captured and aired by video sharing sites before CNN could edit the word out of its repeat broadcast.
Did she really just say that?
That was the question likely going through the minds of the people watching Kathy Griffin live on CNN's telecast from Times Square on New Year's Eve.
The foul-mouthed comedienne was getting heckled by the boisterous crowd when she lost her cool on the chilly night.
"Shut up!" she yelled at a heckler. "You know what, screw you! I'm working! Why don't you get a job, buddy!"

Then the "My Life on the D-List" star added: "You know, I don't go to your job and knock the d--- [think male anatomy] out of your mouth."
CNN deleted the exchange from recorded repeats of the telecast, but the original airing had already made its way onto popular file-sharing sites like YouTube.
