FOX News Channel to Debut 'Glenn Beck' Monday, January 19

FOX News Channel (FNC) will launch new host Glenn Beck's self titled program on Monday, January 19 at 5pm. This hour-long show will feature a variety of guests and topics from the political, entertainment and business news worlds utilizing Beck's unconventional perspective of the day's top stories. Gresham Striegel, currently with "FOX & Friends," will serve as the senior producer of the program.

Before being added to FNC's roster in November 2008, Beck previously served as the host of "Glenn Beck," a talk show on CNN's Headline News which grew more than 200% in viewership in both the 7pm and 9pm timeslots during its tenure.

Prior to his television career, Beck was a talk radio show host at WFLA-AM in Tampa, Florida, where he took his program to number one within his first year there. He began his radio career in Corpus Christi, Texas, as the youngest top 40 morning show disc jockey in America at 18 years of age. Beck later moved on to become a top 40 disc jockey in major markets throughout the country, including Houston, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Phoenix and New Haven, CT.

FOX News Channel (FNC) is a 24-hour general news service covering breaking news as well as political, entertainment and business news. For more than six years, FNC has been the most watched cable news channel in the nation. Owned by News Corp., FNC is available in more than 90 million homes.
