Dagen McDowell is a business correspondent for FOX News Channel (FNC). She joined the network in June 2003. McDowell appears regularly on "Your World with Neil Cavuto" and "Cashin’ In."

Before that, McDowell served as a FNC business news contributor and where she has been a regular on "Cashin’ In" since its debut in May 2001. Prior to joining FNC, McDowell wrote a personal-finance column for TheStreet.com called “Dear Dagen.” In addition, she has also worked for SmartMoney magazine and SmartMoney.com.

McDowell began her career as a financial journalist at the Institutional Investor's Newsletter Division. A native of Virginia, McDowell graduated from Wake Forest University with a degree in Art History.
