Police in Florida have released new jailhouse video footage of Casey Anthony, mother of missing toddler Caylee, laughing and crying on the telephone line during visits by friends and family.

Seven DVDs containing more than 300 minutes of sometimes emotional, sometimes mundane conversations between visitors and Anthony were released by the Orange County Sherrif's Department on Thursday.

Casey Anthony has been charged with first-degree murder in Caylee's disappearance in mid-June, two months shy of her third birthday. She is presumed dead by authorities.

"You and mom have been the best grandparents. Caylee has been so lucky," a sobbing Casey tells her father George Anthony in a July 25 video. "I can’t even put into words how glad I am that she’s had both of you. And that she still has both of you."

“To stay at a distance — even right here, this is a distance — it’s hard to be away from you," George Anthony responds. "But we’re trying everything we can to get the little girl back. We’re trying. It’s 24 hours a day, you know?"

In the same video, Casey Anthony provides a description of the woman she claims kidnapped little Caylee. “Very thin, maybe a little more meat than me. Fairly tanned. Brown eyes,” she tells her mother.

“Well I would think that if anyone around her knew her, they would have come forward by now,” Casey's mother, Cindy Anthony, says. She says later, "They said you couldn’t pull her out of a line-up."

"They’re full of s---," her daughter says.

The Orlando tot was last seen on or around June 16, but her mother did not report her missing until July.

"Casey, we have to find her before her third birthday, that’s coming up fast," Cindy Anthony says in the July 25 video.

The child's grandmother first called authorities in July to say she hadn't seen Caylee for a month and her daughter's car smelled like death.

Caylee's remains haven't been found, despite numerous searches.

Anthony told authorities she left her daughter with a baby sitter in June and the two were gone when she returned from work. She says she spent the next month trying to find Caylee and didn't call police because she was scared. Investigators have repeatedly said they don't believe Anthony's story.
