Airliner Lands in Missouri With Smashed Windshield

KANSAS CITY, Missouri An airliner with a shattered windshield has landed safely at Kansas City's airport.
Kansas City International Airport spokesman Joe McBride says the United Express plane was carrying 72 passengers and crew members on a flight from St. Louis to Denver.
No injuries were reported in the Tuesday morning incident.
McBride said the shattered windshield was still in place when the plane reached a gate after the landing.
Authorities had no immediate explanation for what shattered the windshield.
