DELAND, Fla. Officials say a member of Qatar's army was injured when he landed on a roof during parachute training in central Florida.
Mike Johnston of Skydive DeLand says 30-year-old Salem Mohamed landed just after 11 a.m. Thursday atop a business. His intended landing spot was about a mile west at DeLand Municipal Airport.
Paramedics brought Mohamed off the roof. Officials say he's being treated at a hospital for minor injuries.
Johnston says about 100 members of Qatar's army are going through parachute training here.
